Requirements

  • Ability to review and follow hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • At least 3 years of experience in hydraulic component repair and testing (Millwright and Aircraft mechanic background is sufficient)
  • Formal hydraulic theory training (could be taken during Millwright or Aircraft repair training)
  • Clean driving record
  • Computer knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to work permanently in BC immediately

Responsibilities

  • Repair, convert, and assemble all types of hydraulic components
  • Test hydraulic components on test stand to ensure they meet manufacturers' specifications
  • Troubleshoot mobile and industrial hydraulic systems
  • Follow all prescribed company procedures, including handling of paperwork and invoicing
  • Assist in properly maintaining and operating company's assets, including tools, test bench, and service trucks
  • Stay current on company's products as well as competitors' products and technology (training provided)
  • Provide on-site technical fluid power services, including troubleshooting, commissioning, and upgrading hydraulic systems throughout the lower mainland
