Requirements
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively
- Must be safe and observe all of Tyson's policies and procedures
- Must follow all safety and hygiene policies and procedures
- Able to work in a cold/wet environment (approx. 40° F)
- Able to use hands and arms to perform the majority of work, with periodic bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
- Able to work around moving tables
- Rehire restrictions: Subject to 181-day wait period; ineligible if worked for Tyson Foods or affiliates 3 or more times
Responsibilities
- Fill freezers with product
- Operate plate freezers
- Perform other duties as tasked by administration or management
- Train on 1st Shift Pet Food until official startup of department (late December/early January)
