Requirements

  • Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively
  • Must be safe and observe all of Tyson's policies and procedures
  • Must follow all safety and hygiene policies and procedures
  • Able to work in a cold/wet environment (approx. 40° F)
  • Able to use hands and arms to perform the majority of work, with periodic bending, twisting, lifting, and pulling
  • Able to work around moving tables
  • Rehire restrictions: Subject to 181-day wait period; ineligible if worked for Tyson Foods or affiliates 3 or more times

Responsibilities

  • Fill freezers with product
  • Operate plate freezers
  • Perform other duties as tasked by administration or management
  • Train on 1st Shift Pet Food until official startup of department (late December/early January)
