Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be able to understand labels, read recipes, follow instructions, and communicate effectively
  • Must have at least 3 months of operator experience listed on the application or uploaded resume (can be a combination from multiple employers)
  • Capable of moving up to 70 pounds of product during the duration of the shift
  • Capable of operating a forklift and hand jack
  • Capable of visually inspecting product by the box or pallet
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Ability to work in a very cold environment and on slippery surfaces
  • Capable of working in excess of 8 hours per shift and up to 6 or 7 days per week when required

Responsibilities

  • Obtain orders from the Lead
  • Properly load/unload trailers with pallets of product
  • Weigh pallets of product as required
  • Assist with transporting pallets of products to and from the staging cooler
  • Operate forklift, hand jack, and various small tools
  • Perform other duties as tasked by administration
  • Be safe and observe all of Tyson's policies and procedures
