Responsibilities

Promote a culture of positive health and safety awareness to employees, contractors, and visitors
Work with relevant departmental managers and supervisors to set realistic health and safety objectives
Support the implementation and monitoring of policies and plans, and maintain procedures
Assist in reporting, investigating, recording and analysing accidents and incidents
Assist in reviewing the implementation and performance of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
Support site teams in ensuring contractors operate to required standards
Review and support site teams with the creation of risk assessments and safe systems of work
Participate in sustainability initiatives and attend environmental review meetings
Liaise with external bodies and conduct HSE inductions for leadership and office staff
Conduct regular walkarounds, engaging with staff and reporting risky situations
Regularly seek out learning opportunities and attend Health and Safety related webinars and conferences
Assist with re-occurring job requirements and cover absences as needed
