Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
High School Diploma or GED
Three (3+) years of experience as a practitioner in Health, Safety, Environmental role(s) with applied knowledge of relevant EPA, OSHA, state regulatory (TCEQ) and industry standards OR One (1+) year(s) of experience as a practitioner in Health, Safety, Environmental role(s) with applied knowledge of relevant EPA, OSHA, state regulatory (TCEQ) and industry standards with a Bachelor’s degree
Knowledge of OSHA, TRRC, ANSI, NIOSH, API, AOSC, Drilling Standards, and accepted safe practices for the petroleum industry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work in all weather conditions and respond to callouts, including nights and weekends
Responsibilities
Provide HSE support to the production operations, completions, and drilling operations
Conduct field assessments and safety checks on wells, facilities, and vehicles
Conduct safety meetings and focused refresher training including OSHA compliance-based training, Company initiatives, Smith Driving Systems, etc. as needed
Document management through the use of HSE database systems to manage training records, safety meetings, incident reporting, inspection reports, audits and other applicable regulatory requirements
Assist Supervisors/Managers to trend incidents and observation data and recommend targeted prevention initiatives
Ensure employees and contractors are following Diamondbacks HSE compliance standards
Facilitate and/or assist with incident and high-potential near-miss investigations, SIFS, P-SIFS, M-SIFS
