5 years of experience in safety management, human resources management, or a related role
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to conduct training
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Knowledge of HR systems and databases
Proficiency in HR software

Responsibilities

Create and execute plans to ensure workplace safety according to legal guidelines
Establish and enforce policies to promote a culture of health and safety
Evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Conduct training sessions for employees on safety policies, regulations, and procedures
Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations and maintain accurate records
Provide guidance to the administrative team on safety issues and compliance in specific projects and operations
Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new employees
Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations
Develop training materials and performance management programs to help employees understand their job responsibilities
Investigate employee issues and conflicts, bringing them to resolution
Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives
