Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the Neurovascular (NV) business and alignment with its strategic direction
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor to NV leaders
  • Comprehensive understanding of the NV business and its role within Medtronic
  • Credible and authentic relationship-building skills to influence business results
  • Onsite availability 4 days a week at Irvine, CA office

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic HR leadership to NV functions including US Sales, Marketing, Operations, Regulatory, Clinical & Medical Science, and Quality
  • Develop and implement talent strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Leverage HR Centers of Expertise (COE) capabilities
  • Execute talent strategy to drive business results and ensure organizational alignment with NV goals, KPIs, and Medtronic Mission
  • Provide HR consultation to advance short- and long-term strategic business priorities
  • Lead organizational development and effectiveness
  • Manage change management, leadership coaching, workforce planning, and talent management
  • Collaborate with other HRBPs, HR COEs, and HR Shared Services for effective execution of HR programs and initiatives
  • Gain comprehensive understanding of NV business and lead organizational transformation to elevate performance
  • Design and drive strategic initiatives for organizational effectiveness, functional excellence, customer impact, and patient value
  • Shape organizational structures and staffing models
  • Champion change management, mindsets, behaviors, organizational health, engagement, inclusion, diversity, equity, and culture initiatives
  • Partner with Talent Management COE to develop talent strategies driving business outcomes and high-performance culture
  • Identify future talent needs, strengthen talent pipeline through succession planning and talent readiness
  • Advance Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (IDE) goals with diverse talent representation
  • Advise NV leaders on team development and partner with L&D COE for learning and career pathways
  • Partner on Organizational Development/Effectiveness strategies
  • Drive progress toward Global Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity (GIDE) aspirations
  • Implement talent and organizational reviews, career development planning, performance management, workforce planning, and organizational health assessments/surveys
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to identify key functional and leadership talent to strengthen pipeline
