Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Accounting/Finance, or Administration
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in payroll, gained in a company or social secretariat
  • Experience in managing worker payroll (CP 140.03) is a plus
  • Perfect mastery of Excel for data analysis and processing
  • Knowledge of Protime (time management), e-Blox (payroll), and Workday (HR database) is an asset
  • Good understanding of Belgian social legislation and its practical implications
  • Perfect proficiency in French (spoken and written)
  • Minimum B2 level in English (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of Dutch is an advantage
  • Strong organizational skills, rigor, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage stress, flexibility, and adaptability
  • Developed sense of service and effective communication

Responsibilities

  • Manage full payroll process (A to Z) for approximately 400 workers: encoding, verification, and anomaly management
  • Handle worker advances
  • Collaborate with social secretariat (SD Worx): data control, validation, and final submission
  • Produce payroll reports (Finance, Operations)
  • Perform monthly and annual declarations related to ONSS and ONEM (economic unemployment)
  • Manage employee entries and exits: contracts, administrative data, insurances, extra-legal benefits, dossier closures
  • Track and administer absences, illnesses, work accidents, and reintegration procedures
  • Organize and plan medical visits
  • Manage interim agency invoicing and administrative follow-up for temporary workers
  • Supervise access and badge management according to procedures
  • Serve as primary point of contact for employees (payroll questions, leaves, certificates, attestations, etc.)
  • Provide daily on-site support sessions
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g., new procedures, digitalization, reporting)
  • Contribute to process optimization to reduce administrative workload and improve service quality
