Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Human Resources, Accounting/Finance, or Administration
  • 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing, gained within a company or social secretariat
  • Experience with payroll processing for workers (PC 140.03) is a plus
  • Excellent mastery of Excel for data analysis and processing
  • Knowledge of Protime (time registration), e-Blox (payroll processing), and Workday (HR database) is a strong asset
  • Good understanding of Belgian social legislation and its practical application in the work environment
  • Perfect command of Dutch, both spoken and written
  • Minimum B2 level in English OR French, both spoken and written
  • Three- or multilingualism is a significant asset
  • Strongly organized, accurate, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities

  • Full and accurate processing of payroll (workers – PC 140.03) and related HR administration from A to Z
  • Prepare and process payroll for approximately 400 workers: coding, checking, and handling any discrepancies
  • Manage advances for workers
  • Collaborate with the social secretariat (SD Worx): check data, validate, and final sending
  • Prepare payroll reports (Finance, Operations)
  • Perform monthly and annual declarations to RSZ and RVA (economic unemployment)
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding: contracts, administrative data, insurances, extralegal benefits, closing of files
  • Follow-up and administration of absences, illness, occupational accidents, and reintegration procedures, in collaboration with involved parties
  • Organize and plan medical examinations
  • Manage invoicing from temp agencies and follow-up of administrative tasks related to temp workers
  • Supervise access control and badges according to procedures
  • Act as first point of contact for employees (questions about pay, leave, certificates, etc.)
  • Ensure daily availability
  • Actively participate in HR projects (e.g., new procedures, digitalization, reporting)
  • Contribute to process optimization to reduce administrative burden and improve service quality
