Requirements

Pursuing PhD in quantum many-body physics, quantum chemistry, quantum computing or related fields
Proficiency in Python and C/C++
Familiarity with quantum computing packages e.g. Cirq, Qiskit and/or quantum simulation
Familiarity with quantum algorithms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams

Responsibilities

Accelerate research towards new applications, core methodologies and technologies at the interface of quantum computing, many-body physics, and high-performance computing
Design and implement novel quantum algorithms and accelerators for efficient quantum/classical simulation and tight HPC-QC integration
Collaborate with Hewlett Packard Labs research teams and work in alignment with HPE's broader innovation community
Balance significant technical and scientific contributions with bringing such contributions to practice through innovative solutions
