Requirements

  • Educated in a technical First Level University degree or years of system administration experience
  • Experience and skills in Computer Hardware
  • Experience and skills in Linux operating systems
  • Highly interested in the technical knowledge of the overall architecture for HPC products and solutions
  • Showing analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced with Client relationship management skills
  • Fluent in English and preferably Italian
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting (e.g. Perl, Python, C++, etc.)
  • Bringing a general understanding of networking and security, storage systems, orchestration and automation
  • Self-motivated and technically competent with computer maintenance skills

Responsibilities

  • Apply technical background and knowledge of industry trends to deliver HPC services, including both hardware and software, for HPC supercomputer systems, clusters and storage systems
  • Analyze, qualify, troubleshoot, resolve whenever possible, incidents with the right level of autonomy & expertise
  • Collaborate with team members, other internal organizations, customers, and third parties (e.g. NVIDIA, AMD, …)
  • Represent HPE in front of the customer, including verbal & written communication
  • Be available to travel to European customer sites from time to time
  • Research HPC documentation & complete required trainings to maintain and develop HPC skills
  • Work onsite as part of a dedicated HPC team to deliver preventive and reactive support to ensure compliance with strict SLAs (Service Level Agreement) associated with the customer contract
