Requirements

  • Advanced subject matter knowledge in HPC/AI to solve complex business issues and be regarded as a subject matter expert
  • Deep knowledge of hardware platforms, HPC/AI software infrastructure, and solution development
  • High level of interaction skills with various HPE organizations, partners, sales, R&D, product groups, marketing, and stakeholders
  • Specialized knowledge base across multiple accounts in technical expertise areas (e.g., particular products/areas within global business units)
  • Ability to contribute to the development of new ideas and methods
  • Experience working on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
  • Ability to lead and/or provide expertise to functional project teams
  • Participation in cross-functional initiatives and providing direction/guidance on process improvements and policies
  • Experience representing the organization to external customers/clients
  • Significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices
  • Mentoring and guidance skills for lower-level employees

Responsibilities

  • Define, architect, develop, and support the sales process for HPC/AI technology and solutions
  • Work closely with HPC/AI Sales, HPC/AI GBU R&D and Product Group, marketing, external partners, and stakeholders
  • Engage in account transactions based on technical expertise for specific deals/programs
  • Provide technical consulting work with customers in selling and supporting company products, services, systems, and software
  • Offer technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training
  • Perform HPC/AI Presales tasks as a team member of the APAC/India HPC/AI Presales team
  • Conduct solution architecting, system configuration, technical consulting, presentation delivery, and sales support for general AI and HPC areas
  • Participate in deep-dive discussions, evaluate customers' current business needs and desired end-state infrastructure solutions, translate technical view into implementation view, and determine implementation steps for complex technical requirements
  • Deliver in-depth comparative analysis of alternative proposals to meet complex technical solution requirements
  • Maintain excellent communication with customers, focusing on IT managers, administrators, and specialists
  • Use pipeline insights to prioritize high-potential deal pursuit activities with appropriate resource investment
  • Communicate to the account team the tangible offer value regarding financial return and achievement of business goals
  • Provide direction and guidance to improve processes and establish policies
  • Work with partners to identify gaps and address needs to accelerate channel business
  • Assess the impact of new technologies on the company
