Requirements

  • Education: Master’s degree or higher in law or history, with a Special Education-related concentration.
  • Experience:
    • Experience teaching courses in a college or university setting.
    • Experience creating, updating, or revising courses at a college or university level.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in updating course objectives and defining relevant competencies.
    • Ability to create or revise skill-oriented course sections.
    • Ability to implement clear and measurable learning outcomes aligned to course sections.
    • Ability to create or revise response assignment prompts and rubrics.

Responsibilities

  • Review existing college-level course learning outcomes in your subject area.
  • Create or revise course sections to align with current standards.
  • Develop clear and measurable learning outcomes.
  • Create or revise assignment prompts and rubrics.
  • Evaluate and revise existing multiple-choice questions.

Additional Preferred Skills

  • Strong time management skills to meet due dates.
  • Receptiveness to feedback and willingness to revise submitted work.
