Candidates should possess at least 10 years of recent experience as a Senior Web Developer or similar senior role, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior position, and a post-secondary education in Computer Science or a related field. They should have experience with .NET/ .NET Framework and C#, Entity Framework, TypeScript front-end frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue, and common relational databases like MySQL, SQL Server, or Postgres, as well as non-relational databases like MongoDB, DocumentDB, or DynamoDB, Docker and container-hosting technologies, and general Amazon AWS knowledge including EC2, S3, CloudFront, and Elastic Beanstalk.
The Senior Web Application Developer will be a core member of the team, responsible for designing, architecting, developing, coding, reviewing, and testing key applications, designing new application features and integrations in collaboration with team members, designing and implementing scalable and resilient cloud solutions with security and disaster recovery in mind, helping the team plan and execute technical deliverables, ensuring good code coverage and test coverage through automated testing, championing code quality by adhering to CLEAN architecture and SOLID principles, mentoring other developers on the team, working with business analysts and stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions, providing off-hours support as required, and participating in a rotating weekly on-call schedule.
