Requirements

Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in translating and reviewing content within marketing, UI, website localization, and online help subject matter. They must be proficient in various translation and terminology tools, demonstrate native fluency in the target language, and hold a degree in linguistics, translation, or equivalent experience. Strong English communication skills are required, along with the ability to follow instructions such as character restrictions and articulate the rationale behind their translation decisions. Experience working in a multi-vendor scenario is considered a plus.

Responsibilities

The Hebrew Language Lead Backup will act as an intermediary between clients and Welocalize linguists, monitor and maintain overall quality, conduct daily follow-up of LQE results, gather and share LQE changes, analyze deliverables, implement improvement actions, support linguists in understanding corrections and clarifying client requirements, support the arbitration process, identify and evaluate potential new candidates, and organize regular calls with reviewers and the Language Services team to discuss corrections and requirements. Additionally, the role involves providing training materials and conducting training sessions with linguists, collecting root cause analysis and developing corrective and preventive action plans, and highlighting workload issues with proposed solutions.
