Requirements

  • Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate SOPs affecting daily and strategic business operations
  • Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems
  • Knowledge of techniques, procedures, and tools used in the maintenance of heavy equipment; ability to identify, resolve, and prevent issues
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations; ability to perform day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools, and techniques; ability to anticipate, detect, and resolve technical problems in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with heavy equipment repair
  • Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, using diagnostic tools and APPs
  • Experience in assembly and disassembly of heavy equipment in construction and mining industries (ideal)

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and repairing the demonstration and learning center fleet and support equipment to ensure proper working order
  • Training facility staff on equipment systems, fleet maintenance, and repairs
  • Assisting in pre-production machine serviceability evaluations in support of New Product Introduction programs
  • Performing assembly and disassembly responsibilities, including loading and unloading of machines upon arrival/departure
  • Maintaining records of equipment, attachments, and parts
  • Cleaning service bay areas and adhering to Contamination Control Guidelines
  • Performing work to complete service letters on the Cat equipment fleet
  • Building relationships with product groups to maintain their support of the Tinaja Hills facility and fleet
