Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Mathematical ability and practical application of percentages and ratios
  • Ability to read and write, effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to understand written, verbal or diagrammatical form of instructions
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, push, pull and reach
  • Ability to lift and/or carry 5-25 pounds regularly and occasionally 25-65 pounds with assistance

Responsibilities

  • Start up and shut down heat treat equipment (includes initial setting and adjusting of all controls and gauges)
  • Move work to charge end of furnaces
  • Load and unload work from furnaces
  • Check and adjust all controls and gauges
  • Inspection of completed parts (Rockwell), which includes keeping of records
  • Clean and maintain necessary gauges
  • Work in other departments on as needed basis, as directed by supervisor
  • Operates PIV as needed to move part bins, load machines
  • Maintain housekeeping standards
  • Must be able to work overtime
  • Any other duties as assigned by supervisor
