Prior experience in a healthcare or therapy-based setting is considered a plus.
The Scheduling & Care Coordination Specialist will develop and maintain accurate schedules for clinicians and clients, ensuring appropriate client-to-clinician ratios and serving as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries. They will schedule assessments and reassessments, coordinate care across multiple disciplines, and arrange substitute clinicians when needed. The role also involves overseeing receptionist functions, managing client records, verifying insurance benefits, tracking coverage changes, and maintaining patient record reviews, as well as collecting client payments and managing authorization tracking.
