Responsibilities

  • Assist safety personnel with the review and filing of safety documents
  • Assist with updates to Health & Safety Plans
  • Assist in field inspections
  • Perform/assist in field inspections and audits
  • Evaluate hazard mitigation methods and ensure their use
  • Provide direction on Federal, State, and local regulatory compliance (i.e., OSHA)
  • Conduct self in accordance with the safety professional’s code of conduct
  • Participate in risk assessments
  • Identify potential hazards and propose corrective measures to leadership
  • Present safety meeting topics
  • Ensure employees are adequately equipped to perform their tasks safely
  • Assist office and safety personnel with a variety of office-related tasks
  • Other duties as may be assigned
