Responsibilities

Assist safety personnel with the review and filing of safety documents
Assist with updates to Health & Safety Plans
Assist in field inspections
Perform/assist in field inspections and audits
Evaluate hazard mitigation methods and ensure their use
Provide direction on Federal, State, and local regulatory compliance (i.e., OSHA)
Conduct self in accordance with the safety professional’s code of conduct
Participate in risk assessments
Identify potential hazards and propose corrective measures to leadership
Present safety meeting topics
Ensure employees are adequately equipped to perform their tasks safely
Assist office and safety personnel with a variety of office-related tasks
Other duties as may be assigned
