Responsibilities

Act as a trusted advisor to product and business teams, integrating compliance into product design and operations using a risk-based approach to balance commercial outcomes and innovation
Establish a comprehensive, efficient, and streamlined product compliance framework for all existing and new crypto products
Optimize compliance processes (e.g., risk assessments, sign-offs) for efficiency, scalability, and high standards without sacrificing business agility
Serve as a strategic compliance advisor to product and cross-functional teams, enabling 'compliance-by-design' from inception to reduce time-to-market
Maintain focus on evolving global regulatory landscapes, providing proactive, solution-oriented guidance on impacts, especially for multi-jurisdictional product scaling
Design and implement the firm’s product compliance framework with end-to-end coverage of compliance risks, seeking efficiency and automation in governance and approval workflows
Provide clear, actionable, solution-focused advice to product managers as an embedded commercial compliance partner throughout the product lifecycle
Review technical documentation, user journeys, and product flows to ensure compliance risks are addressed
Lead pre-launch risk-based assessment processes for all new products and material updates, delivering streamlined decision paths
Partner with cross-functional teams (Legal, Risk, Engineering) to interpret complex regulations and translate them into simple, pragmatic, scalable product and control requirements
