Requirements

Candidates should have over 7 years of professional experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner focused on Autonomy and/or Robotics. Experience in collaborating with diverse engineering disciplines, including machine learning, AI, and hardware development, is essential. Excellent communication skills are required to craft clear requirements, along with proficiency in data analysis and SQL for building performance dashboards. Technical fluency in robotics and autonomy topics, particularly navigation and machine learning, is necessary, as well as the ability to travel domestically and internationally to observe robots.

Responsibilities

The Head of Product, Autonomy will develop and drive a cross-functional roadmap that aligns business and operational needs with advancements in autonomy. They will create requirements and user stories based on stakeholder feedback and data analysis. Collaborating with engineering teams, they will set performance metrics to improve autonomous systems and mentor non-engineering teams on the value of autonomy. The role includes continuous improvement from problem assessment to performance analysis and driving initiatives that enhance the autonomy platform and validate high-impact opportunities.
