Requirements

Candidates should possess over 10 years of experience in senior compliance roles within large, regulated industries and a proven track record in developing and implementing privacy and AI programs from scratch. A strong background bridging legal/compliance and technology is essential, along with deep knowledge of privacy, health, and related legislation, and the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements. Leadership experience with team development, strong stakeholder management skills for influencing across functions and levels, and exceptional communication skills to simplify complex concepts are required. Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, risk, compliance, or related disciplines are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Head of Privacy and AI Enablement will develop and execute Montu’s privacy and AI strategy, providing expert guidance on privacy and AI risks, trends, and regulations to the General Manager and Executive Team. This role involves building, implementing, and improving privacy and AI compliance frameworks, policies, and training programs, and overseeing privacy and AI impact assessments, monitoring, incident response, and assurance activities. The individual will partner with various teams to embed trust and transparency, and lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, setting clear objectives and promoting professional growth.
