Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Partner and Audience Development Managers, fostering growth, development, and a high-performance culture
  • Formulate and execute annual and quarterly plans for the Podcast vertical in the market, translating global objectives into local strategy and priorities
  • Build and manage a portfolio of creators, publishers, and networks, ensuring Spotify is viewed as their most valuable audience platform - characterized by strong loyalty, retention, and sustainable unit economics
  • Represent Spotify Podcasts in the UK, partnering with our comms team to determine and deliver key messages, building relationships with senior stakeholders in the creator industries and advocating for our strategic objectives
  • Partner with Product and Creator Marketing teams to ensure creators are informed about new features and updates through scaled partner outreach, owned events, and key sponsorships
  • Oversee relationships with Spotify’s Direct Sales Partners, collaborating with Content Acquisition and Podcast Sales teams to identify opportunities and maintain a robust slate of content aligned with Spotify’s pivot to baked-in sponsorships
  • Support the Studios Team in operating the London Studio, facilitating access for key partners and exploring new use cases and opportunities
  • Manage the promotion and editorial placement of podcast and video content within the market to ensure cultural relevancy, and support global initiatives such as Wrapped and RADAR
  • Collaborate with global teams across Podcast Business, Strategy Insights & Analytics, Technical Support, Consumer Marketing, and Communications to ensure a cohesive and data-informed strategic approach
  • Act as an ambassador for the market within internal forums, communicating market challenges and opportunities to global stakeholders to inform product and business roadmaps
  • Drive and implement Spotify’s Podcast & Video strategy within the UK & IE, collaborating cross-functionally with local and global teams
  • Oversee the development and completion of Spotify’s catalog of podcast and video content, positioning Spotify as the most valuable platform for both creators and audiences in the UK & IE
