Requirements

  • 8+ years in finance roles, ideally with experience at a high-growth SaaS or AI company
  • Deep understanding of B2B software metrics (ARR, CAC payback, NRR, burn multiple, etc.)
  • Proven ability to build and scale financial models and systems from early-stage through growth
  • Experience partnering with founders and boards; confident communicator who can turn data into insight and strategy
  • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment — hands-on, scrappy, and precise
  • Bonus: exposure to healthcare or revenue cycle management markets

Responsibilities

  • Own FP&A and Strategic Finance: Lead forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning; model growth scenarios and capital efficiency metrics
  • Partner with Leadership: Advise the CEO, CTO, and GTM leaders on key financial tradeoffs, pricing strategy, and ROI-based decision-making
  • Operational Finance: Oversee accounting, billing, payroll, compliance, and tax (via external partners); ensure clean books and audit readiness
  • Fundraising Support: Prepare investor updates, board materials, and diligence packages; support capital strategy and cash runway management
  • Data-Driven Insights: Build dashboards and KPIs that tie financial performance to operational outcomes
  • Systems and Processes: Implement scalable financial infrastructure (ERP, budgeting, expense management tools)
  • Team Building: Recruit and manage future finance and operations hires as the company scales
