Responsibilities

Set strategic direction and manage the roadmap for the digital component framework, impacting digital delivery of insurance products across geographies and markets
Prioritize new feature development and issue management of the digital component framework
Partner with product, design, and technology leadership to create industry-leading digital experiences
Champion innovation while maintaining stability and reliability critical to financial services
Lead and inspire a distributed team of UI development professionals across multiple time zones, including architects, framework developers, and application delivery specialists
Lead UI development teams to build new products and maintain existing projects across the enterprise portfolio
Build a culture of innovation within a traditionally conservative industry
Develop talent that bridges insurance domain expertise and modern technology
Foster collaboration and excellence across geographically distributed teams
Translate complex insurance requirements into elegant technical solutions
Create high-level design diagrams for alignment and direction of cross-functional technology and engineering teams
Collaborate with design system governance to ensure compliance with brand and accessibility standards
Drive measurable improvements in development velocity, product consistency, and speed-to-market for insurance solutions
Work with Agile scrum teams to drive best practices, participate in code reviews, and support continuous improvement
