Candidates should have over 6 years of experience, including at least 2 years in operations leadership at a fast-paced startup. A strong track record of designing scalable systems, including playbooks, automations, and SOPs, is essential. Analytical and data-driven skills are required, along with excellent cross-functional collaboration abilities. Familiarity with media specifications, codecs, captioning, or localization is a plus, but not required. SQL knowledge is essential for success, and while not expecting an expert, a solid foundation and willingness to learn are necessary; the company will invest in training for strong candidates.
The Head of Content Operations will lead and grow a global team across Channel Operations and Filmmaker/Distributor Operations. They will design and document scalable systems for ingest, QC, metadata, and delivery, and build workflows using tools like Notion, Airtable, Zapier, and Google Workspace. This role involves defining and tracking KPIs to measure and improve operational performance, collaborating with technical teams to enhance asset quality, and partnering with Product to shape internal tools. Responsibilities also include supporting streaming partners with on-time, spec-perfect deliveries and acting as both a coach and a player, mentoring the team while leading from the front.
