Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline, and ideally have a Master's degree. They should have at least 7 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on business intelligence and analytics, and demonstrated experience leading and developing analytics teams. Experience with BigQuery, DBT, Looker, and Hex is preferred, along with a solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

The Head of Analytics will build and lead the Valon Mortgage Analytics team, responsible for owning the data infrastructure and tool chain, identifying relevant KPIs and SLAs, developing operational dashboarding and metrics, orchestrating performance analytics, managing headcount models, supporting client, regulatory, and investor reporting, and building automation tooling. They will also serve as a key partner to senior operational executives and drive positive change throughout the company, potentially overseeing business analysis, IT, and business systems management functions.
