A valid class B commercial driver’s license is required. Current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training or the ability to pass the course upon hire is necessary. A CDL Hazmat endorsement is preferred. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, and compressor systems, as well as pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and other maintenance functions is preferred. Skill in using hand and shop tools and instruments is required. The ability to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple diverse responsibilities is essential.
Operate class B trucks in a Less Than Truckload (LTL) capacity to pick up customer retail waste. Sort, package, verify, secure, and transport customer waste to temporary storage or treatment facilities. Provide excellent customer service. Maintain electronic logs and documentation of manifests and work orders. Perform DOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Process hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed. Assist in maintaining good housekeeping at the facility and on the grounds. Function as a technician on lab pack and field service projects. Maintain company equipment and vehicle logs. Perform other related duties as assigned.
