Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of four years of hands-on experience in a datacenter environment, significant experience diagnosing and repairing complex GPU-based servers, and a deep understanding of server hardware, BMC-based manageability, BIOS settings, and firmware deployment. Basic Linux system administration skills and familiarity with Infiniband switches and network topology are also required. A relevant Associate's Degree or equivalent experience in an IT-related field is necessary, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

The Senior Hardware Data Center Operations Technician will troubleshoot and repair hardware failures in complex GPU-based servers, collaborate with the Infrastructure Systems team for hardware testing and qualification, and manage support tickets with hardware vendors. They will maintain an accurate spares inventory, assist with server racking and cabling, and document hardware issues and resolutions. The role also includes providing occasional after-hours support and working in a physically demanding environment.
