Responsibilities

Assemble and lead an engineering team applying in-house and external resources
Manage and support large-scale and/or sophisticated projects that have significant impact on company and divisional goals, including working with internal clients, multifunctional teams, and external vendors
Direct and deliver projects from inception through design, validation, and approval
Develop timelines and lead all aspects of activities for the entire project team
Take responsibility for project completion
Participate in the identification, planning, and execution of projects involved with process improvement
Develop process excellence techniques to identify systematic issues
Track trends, develop, and implement equipment and/or process enhancements that improve efficiency, product yield, and equipment reliability
Ensure process and material quality objectives are met during projects and are congruent with requirements
Establish process and material quality targets
Measure performance against targets and provide remedial actions as necessary
Deploy dashboards and business scorecards
Partner cross-functionally to develop solutions to a variety of problems with varying levels of scope and complexity
Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate courses of action
Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
Comply with all environmental, safety, and occupational health policies (i.e., ISO14001 & OSHAS 18001)
