Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • CPA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification in taxation
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Latin America Taxation compliance, Ecuador (In-house multinational or Big 4)
  • Spanish and English
  • Experience with Oracle and/or SAP are a must
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, OneSource and Blackline will be considered a plus
  • Have previous experience in HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits, Global Mobility or Shared Service Centers preferred
  • Have written and verbal communication skills in Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the tax compliance of indirect and direct tax for the legal entities established in Ecuador
  • Reviewing or preparing tax returns and guarantee that tax position matches with tax balance sheet
  • Supporting tax trackers and KPIs are updated to ascertain completeness, accuracy and timeliness
  • Supporting Tax Asset Monetization initiatives with support of Regional Tax Team
  • Liaising and working collaboratively with broader tax organization and finance organization
  • Supporting and pro-active seeking for process improvement and automation
  • Supporting all other ad hoc projects as and when they arise
