Requirements

  • Willing and able to lift and carry 80 pounds or more (including bags of spices, TVP, salt, and boxed meat)
  • Willing and able to regularly stand, stoop, bend, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, and move about the facility
  • Willing and able to work in hot, cold, and wet environments
  • Able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson must have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment

Responsibilities

  • Perform operational setup of equipment, adjust equipment, and document
  • Operate all equipment and handle related documentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Communicate with co-workers and management
  • Make all necessary adjustments to equipment
  • Observe all safety rules and actively promote safety
  • Work as part of a team
  • Wear safety equipment and follow GMP’s and Safety Policies
  • Perform work as assigned by the department supervisor
