Responsibilities

  • Translating user needs to design inputs/specifications and producing component and sub-system level designs (Software)
  • Owning the design, implementation, and testing of software modules, including configuration management, issue/bug tracking, and risk management (Software)
  • Using version control for traceable development history and standard methodologies for readable, maintainable code (Software)
  • Investigating, designing, developing, and implementing new manufacturing processes and technology; handing over to production (Software/Mechanical)
  • Debugging and correcting design issues using independent judgment; balancing design trade-offs (Software/Mechanical)
  • Participating in project teams and working with creative design teams to invent and develop new product concepts (Mechanical)
  • Implementing quality systems and working with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • Providing process validation support internally and with vendors (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • Developing and qualifying new test equipment and methods; researching, specifying, and qualifying new test or prototyping equipment (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • Investigating, designing, developing, and implementing new devices and technology; accelerating product launches (Electrical)
  • Designing circuits including Schematic Capture, Layout, and Failure Mode Analysis for PCBA’s, cables, and electromechanical components (Electrical)
  • Independently designing and developing electrical components and sub-systems for medical devices (Electrical)
  • Conducting advanced problem-solving, identifying and evaluating solutions against requirements (Electrical)
  • Supporting Voice of Customer sessions internally and with clinicians (Electrical)
