Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum Grade 3 California Wastewater treatment license, or alternatively, a Grade 2 Wastewater treatment license with the ability to obtain a Grade 3 within six months. Applicants without a valid Grade 2 or Grade 3 Wastewater treatment license will not be considered.

Responsibilities

The Grade 3 Wastewater Operator will be responsible for controlling the processing of wastewater and effluent, regulating influent and effluent flows within the system, monitoring the operation of wastewater treatment plant equipment, assisting with basic laboratory testing and sample collection, performing preventative/corrective maintenance, and working under the direct or general supervision of the Lead Operator and Plant Manager.
