Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with a demonstrated understanding of Canadian government and policy-making processes. Experience in lobbying, advocacy, or government relations is highly desirable, and familiarity with AI policy and technology is beneficial.
As the Government Affairs & Public Policy Manager, you will report directly to the Lead for North America Government Affairs & Public Policy, collaborating with senior leadership to develop and implement a government affairs and stakeholder engagement strategy. You will build relationships with government officials, attend relevant events, track legislative developments, coordinate cross-functional input, and support policy advocacy efforts. Additionally, you will prepare summaries for leadership, develop trackers, and assist in crafting submissions and talking points related to AI and technology policy initiatives.
