Description: Keeper is hiring a skilled and strategic Federal Government Relations Manager to advance our federal advocacy strategy and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role focuses on advocating for Keeper’s solutions, influencing relevant policy decisions, and collaborating with leadership and lobbyists regarding strategy. Keeper’s cybersecurity software is trusted by millions and is sold in over 120 countries.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of government relations principles and practices.
- Experience in legislative processes and policy advocacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with government officials, lawmakers, and lobbyists.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and the federal government landscape is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement the company’s federal advocacy strategy.
- Lead the execution of government affairs initiatives aligned with Keeper’s business objectives and policy priorities.
- Build and maintain relationships with government officials, lawmakers, lobbyists, and external stakeholders.
- Monitor key legislative dates and deadlines, create a strategic calendar, and execute the plan.
- Assist with proposal writing and other government affairs documentation.
- Work with leadership and lobbyists regarding strategy.
