Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing (or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through the PGA/LPGA Associate Program)
  • 3+ years of knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training
  • Trackman Level 1 & 2
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for golf equipment & related technology
  • Desire for continued learning (self) and teaching others
  • Stays current with industry trends

Responsibilities

  • Build student base by creating safe environments for all Golfers, provide high quality instruction, and build long lasting relationships with each student
  • Talk with clients to identify strengths and weaknesses of swing/game, get to root of students’ lesson goals, and act as Trusted Advisor for each respective student
  • Ensure teaching concepts are directed toward students' understanding and adjust teaching style to best facilitate students' learning
  • Seek out information and opportunities to develop self to become a better teacher and strive to meet and exceed financial and metric goals
  • Partner with local organizations to teach, support, and spread awareness of the Golf Galaxy experience
  • Work collaboratively with Certified Fitters and teammates to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience with each student
