Candidates must possess a college or university degree in Computer Science or a related field. A minimum of 8 years of software development experience is required, with strong hands-on expertise in the Go programming language, front-end and back-end systems, software design, architecture, and data modeling for large-scale systems. Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or MS Azure, REST APIs, Webhooks, gRPC, Protobufs, SQL, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, unit testing, Linux environments, and GIT is essential. Familiarity with telecom network elements and standards, as well as experience in the telecom industry with knowledge of TMForum and 3GPP standards, are considered a plus. The ability to engage with stakeholders, translate requirements into design/architecture, and execute independently is also required.
The Go Developer will spearhead the expansion of the company's SDK, enabling customers to create innovative telecom experiences within their mobile applications. This role involves developing the flagship BrandVNO platform, contributing to microservices built in Go, and utilizing Protobuf and gRPC for internal microservice interactions. Responsibilities include working with REST APIs for public-facing services, managing microservice deployments with Docker, and operating within an AWS-hosted infrastructure. The developer will also interact with Stellar blockchain for transactions, manage data warehousing with Airflow & Superset, and work with various databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, and MongoDB. Additionally, the role requires understanding Android and iOS apps (Java and Swift) and Angular websites, and maintaining a holistic view of the product, business, and customer needs.
