Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience, with 3+ years of hands-on GNSS testing experience
  • Strong knowledge of the GNSS and communication system processing chain
  • Proficiency in Python and MATLAB for data analysis and automation
  • Solid understanding of RF laboratory setups, including RF distribution, LNAs, splitters, and attenuators
  • Expertise in computing GNSS KPIs such as sensitivity, TTFF (Time-To-First-Fix), and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • (Nice to have) In-depth knowledge of GNSS acquisition, tracking, and navigation algorithms, as well as familiarity with DSP and RF concepts commonly used in communication systems
  • (Nice to have) Experience applying these principles to automated testing frameworks and performance evaluation, including KPI computation for complex signal processing chains
  • (Nice to have) Familiarity with IQ data formats, SDR

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automation tools in MATLAB and Python for GNSS receiver testing and performance analysis
  • Develop hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test frameworks to continuously verify and validate firmware performance
  • Create and maintain algorithms for computing GNSS Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for multi-constellation, multi-frequency receivers
  • Ensure the reliability of the GNSS laboratory and CI pipeline, including managing RFCS simulators (e.g., Spirent), SDRs, and RF distribution systems
  • Monitor and safeguard GNSS system performance during algorithm development and integration phases
  • Document and present technical findings clearly to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by following and enhancing company software engineering best practices
