Requirements

The Lead Operator, Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) requires a strong understanding of security and emergency standard operating procedures (SOPs). Candidates must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze situations and im. Experience with physical security asset monitoring and surveillance systems, open-source threat intelligence, and internal SaaS tools is necessary. Familiarity with access control, visitor management processes, and business traveler awareness is also required.

Responsibilities

The Lead GSOC Operator will monitor various data sources to maintain broad situational awareness of events impacting employee safety or business assets globally. Responsibilities include identifying potential business disruptions, streamlining emergency response, and performing incident intake for medical emergencies, natural disasters, fires, travel disruptions, and security incidents. The role involves assessing and triaging events, dispatching and coordinating response with emergency personnel, communicating effectively on emerging incidents, maintaining real-time incident documentation, performing life-safety checks, and participating in post-incident reviews. Additionally, the operator will support access control and visitor management, manage security-related calls, and review travel requests to elevated risk locations.
