Requirements

  • Must be able to understand and agree to follow Safety Rules
  • Must be willing to push, pull, carry, and/or lift 40+ pounds for some positions
  • Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments and reach above shoulder level
  • Must be able to perform the duties of the position
  • Must be willing to stand 8-10 hours a day
  • Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net, and beard guard
  • Must be able to maneuver around freely as needed
  • Must have good hand/eye coordination
  • Must be willing to climb up and down steps/stairs to get to and from work areas when needed
  • Prior Employee Waiting Period: 365-day waiting period if previously employed at Tyson before reapplying
  • Number of Times Worked at Tyson: Can apply if worked at Tyson no more than three times
  • Failed Drug Screen: Must wait 6 months before reapplying if failed drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Perform general production duties on 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm, possible Saturdays)
