No minimum experience required, but manufacturing or lumber experience preferred
Working knowledge of basic math preferred
Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

Safely handle lumber products
Verify material meets customer requirements and company expectations
Move and secure lumber products and other materials according to instructions
Stack finished products according to predetermined bundle sizes and/or customer requirements
Label material based on specifications: type, size, and count
Apply individual tags to material before/after treating/production
Use a staple gun and troubleshoot equipment
Band, bundle, and secure material, including attaching corner protectors and loading sticks
Follow instructions for stacking material properly according to company policy and customer requirements
Ensure correct quantities and material are strapped and labeled before leaving the work area
Maintain accurate inventory of tags and report any problems or discrepancies to supervisor
Record production on production sheets
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Assist with other work areas by moving material, loading, and unloading material carts
Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings
Perform other duties as required
