Requirements

  • Willing and able to perform entry-level non-skilled general labor
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
  • Stand and/or walk 8-12 hours per day on a production line
  • Work in a cold and damp environment (36-42 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Use grasping (pinch grip), reaching (10-25 inches), and simultaneous use of both hands
  • Willing to work with knives if required
  • Wear all proper safety equipment
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends if required
  • Perform physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks in Beef, Ground Beef, and/or Pork departments on A Shift (First shift/Days)
  • Handle product on conveyor: pick, place in trays, arrange according to specifications, and return to conveyor
  • Stand on concrete, grate, or fiberglass ergonomic platform
  • Apply light force as needed in job tasks
