Requirements

  • Willing to perform entry-level non-skilled general labor
  • Able to maintain a safe work environment and adhere to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Available for Monday-Friday schedule (6:30 am until finished) with possible Saturdays, overtime, and weekends
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive motion
  • Able to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds
  • Able to stand/walk 8-12 hours per day on concrete, grate, or fiberglass platform
  • Able to grasp (pinch grip), reach 10-25 inches, and use both hands simultaneously
  • Willing to work in a cold and damp environment (36-42°F)
  • Willing to work with knives if required and wear all proper safety equipment
  • Able to perform physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation

Responsibilities

  • Perform entry-level non-skilled general labor tasks (applicable to openings in Beef, Ground Beef, and/or Pork departments on A Shift)
  • Pick product from conveyor using pinch grip, place it correctly in trays, and return to conveyor
  • Remove product from conveyor, arrange according to specifications in trays, and place trayed product on correct conveyor
  • Maintain safe work environment and follow Tyson policies and procedures
