Requirements

Candidates should possess a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, be licensed to practice dentistry in Massachusetts, and have experience providing a wide range of general dental services. Strong clinical skills and the ability to diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries are essential, as is the capacity to perform procedures such as restorations, extractions, root canals, and crown/bridge work.

Responsibilities

The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, including performing dental exams, providing general and emergency dental care, conducting cleanings and scaling, performing root canals, placing fillings, and delivering oral cancer screenings. They will also diagnose and treat oral diseases and injuries, advise patients on preventative care, and construct full and partial dentures, crowns, bridges, and veneers.
