Responsibilities
- Design and Development of Core Game Systems: Plan and build the fundamental rules, progression flow, and key systems (growth, equipment, skills, economy, etc.) that form the backbone of the player experience
- Inter-System Integration Design: Ensure combat, progression, collection, economy, and other systems interact cohesively to deliver a unified and engaging gameplay experience
- System Design from a UX Perspective: Design specifications that prioritize intuitive, easy-to-understand UI/UX, ensuring smooth operation and player comprehension
- Balancing and Data Design: Plan and adjust parameters such as growth curves, reward systems, and resource inflation control to maintain long-term engagement and game sustainability
- Specification Documentation and Cross-Team Collaboration: Create clear and detailed documentation of system specifications and intentions, facilitating smooth collaboration with programmers, artists, QA, and other disciplines
