Requirements

Candidates should have 3+ years of experience writing idiomatic JavaScript, Golang, Java, Python, Scala, or Ruby, and experience building performant React applications. Fluency in CSS and HTML, experience building modern fullstack systems using standards like HTTP REST, GraphQL, stream processing, and Big Data, and familiarity with cloud computing systems (GCP, AWS) and SAAS concepts are required. Proficiency with version control systems like Git, code linting, writing tests, and leveraging continuous integration systems (CircleCI, Bamboo, Jenkins, TravisCI) are also necessary. Experience planning, building, evolving, and scrutinizing monitoring and alerting systems is expected.

Responsibilities

Software Engineers will design, build, and operate Atticus' web applications with a focus on performance, modularity, extensibility, and reliability. They will collaborate with product teams to evaluate and refine product details and acceptance criteria, architect, design, write, review, and test code in a collaborative environment, and evaluate storage technologies and methodologies for scalability and performance. Engineers will also leverage peers as multipliers for their skills to create excellent products and services, and teach and mentor teammates on backend system best practices and architecture.
