Position Overview

ClickHouse is seeking exceptional Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineers to join our Control Plane engineering teams. These teams are responsible for building the billing platform for ClickHouse Cloud, the SQL Console for the ClickHouse interface, and all internal and external ClickHouse UI dashboards. This is an ideal time to join and make a significant impact, working on a variety of frontend and backend technologies while integrating with external systems. The team collaborates with stakeholders across the business to ensure the best customer experience, prioritizing reliability, scalability, privacy, security, and observability, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build ClickHouse Cloud interfaces, dashboards, and consoles.
• Design and build mission-critical processes that are essential for operations.
• Create with purpose, providing rationale for decisions to effectively present ideas and solutions to peers and stakeholders.
• Deliver frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, mature, and highly available, abstracting away infrastructure complexity.
• Partner with multi-disciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions.
• Integrate with a variety of systems including Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, and Support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building front-end systems running on the cloud.
• Full Stack coding experience with React, TypeScript, Serverless, and Node.js (proficiency in multiple languages is encouraged).
• Experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects in collaboration with multiple experienced engineers.
• Full-cycle developer with strong ownership of code quality and experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the full software lifecycle.
• Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their Infrastructure as a Service offerings.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team and across engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and solid production debugging abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and act as a partner with the business to drive progress.
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
