Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, or Machine Learning, with a Master's degree being preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required in designing and building software engineering solutions in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or SQL. Preferred qualifications include experience with complex systems, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps principles, GCP architecture, APIs, microservices, and formal SAFe and/or agile experience.
The Software Engineer will develop services on top of GCP, owning features from engineering through production support. They will follow software best practices like CI/CD and automated testing, and develop, deploy, and maintain robust data pipelines on GCP using services such as BigQuery and Composer. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions, adhering to agile methodologies, and contributing to the modernization of healthcare technologies.
