Requirements

7+ years of backend development experience, with a focus on data-intensive applications
Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., C#, Java, C++)
Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift)
Understanding of ELT/ETL processes and challenges in handling large-scale data
Understanding of Software Design fundamentals
Problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code
English communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams (B2 level English or higher)
Location: Mexico only (remote)

Responsibilities

Build new features for the REST API and enhance the AWS infrastructure using C# and AWS CloudFormation
Work with product management, designers, and QA team to implement new features and enhancements
Participate as a reviewer in the pull request review process, ensuring high code quality and providing insights to team members
Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and low latency across large datasets
Develop features using AWS tools such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Redshift
Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies
Identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and uptime
In first 30 days: Learn development process, codebase, coding standards, and tools; participate in team meetings; complete small tasks or bug fixes
In first 60 days: Become more independent in handling assigned tasks with less supervision
